ChilOut – Children out of Immigration Detention Inc was wound up on 29 June 2018.
This website has been left intact as a historical narrative of ChilOut’s work. We would like to thank all our supporters for their tremendous support. Through our work – and the work of many other similar organisations – we have seen thousands of children finally freed from detention. But not all children are free. The work of ending child detention continues via other networks. We encourage you to support the work of the End Child Detention Coalition. ChilOut has been one of the 23 organisations involved in the ECDC Coalition. The Coalition has a support base of more than 140,000 people across all States and Territories. Our remaining funds have been transferred to the Coalition to contribute to their important work.
