End Child Detention Coalition
ChilOut is proudly a member of the End Child Detention Coalition (ECDC). The ECDC advocates for the rights of children in immigration detention and believes that detention is never in the best interests of a child. The ECDC is currently focused on effective government relations for long term legislative change. Collectively ECDC has a wealth of experience in advocacy and policy thanks to having 23 member organisations which in total have 140 staff, 800 volunteers and 120,000 supports from all around Australia.
