The End Child Detention Australia Coalition hosted a large scale #freethechildren event outside Sydney's QVB from June 11-15. The response was terrific, and now we need to spread the word well beyond Sydney's CBD. All the materials we used are available for you as well. This is more than just a petition and more than just 'the converted' taking action. The visual, positive and interactive nature of this action will engage more people than the 'usual' suspects and importantly, many children and young people have been keen to find out what it's all about.
