Applications for 2016 Internships Now Open!
ChilOut is looking for a university student to intern with us one to two days per week, starting in May 2016. The successful applicant will need to be able to work at ChilOut's office in the Sydney CBD and be committed to interning with us for a minimum of three months. As an intern, you will be working under the supervision of ChilOut’s Campaign Coordinator to support ChilOut's work in ending the immigration detention of children. Internship activities will include research, communications, contributing to our campaigns, helping to organise events, and drafting papers and submissions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated student who is seeking to pursue a career in international or national advocacy work, community engagement, communications, social justice or human rights law and wants to gain experience in these areas. Best of all, as a ChilOut intern you will be making a real difference to the lives of children who are suffering in immigration detention centres.
If you’re interested in interning with ChilOut, please email a copy of your CV and a cover letter explaining your interest to: .
